TO THE UN SECRETARY GENERAL

On March 15, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. the parallel event “Ukraine: Strengthening the role of women in reconstruction and peace-making processes in countries with military conflicts” will be held, 
during the CSW68 Forum assisting the Commission of the Status of Women in the United Nations and organized and conducted by independent delegations of Ukrainian women at the UN.
The delegation is formed by the NGO “Geopolitical Alliance of Women” in partnership with the Institute of Cultural Affairs International, which has a special consultative ECOSOC status at the UN https://www.ica-international. org/
The event is held in partnership with the World Association of Rural Women, which is represented in 65 countries of the world https://acww.org.uk/ and under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Angelika Jarosławska Sapieha,
co-organizer of the parallel event “Ukraine: Strengthening the role of women in reconstruction and peace-making processes in countries with military conflicts” and
the leader of the international demining movement and initiator of the global anti-landmine campaign and movement for a mine-free world: “One Mine – One Life”.
 
The event gathers women from all countries of the world (58) where military conflicts are currently taking place for an open structured dialogue, the result of which will be the development of a Roadmap for peacekeeping actions and a joint resolution that will be sent to the UN Secretary General.
