I would like to highly encourage you to learn more about the place, which is very close to my heart and which you can support, no matter in which part of the globe you are right now.

Hastings School is situated under the flyover in the Hastings area. In the pictures that I posted today, which speak more than 1000 words, you can see wonderful students from Hastings School.

Under the flyover in crowded and noisy Calcutta, there is a school that could serve as a role model of how in a most inconvenient place something special for children, for their further education can be created.

It is an exceptionally strong educational program for children from the slums and streets. The focus is on pre-primary school-going age groups.

My partners, humanitarians from the Cathedral Relief Centre are some of the most dedicated people I ever met.

The work of CRS is focused on city slums in metropolitan Kolkata and rural villages in the surrounding districts.

You can support this wonderful school and also other programs about which I will write more soon: The women’s Empowerment program and the health program.

Support is needed to construct a building for the school, as well as for educational materials, the honorarium for a teacher, and the provision of a midday meal for the children.

No children should be ever deprived of education.

Due to the Hastings School, many children can continue their education.
