One Mine - One Life
”One Mine – One Life” in Khmer. That remarkable bracelet is made from exploded bombs and unexploded ordnance cleared by Cambodian Self-Help Demining.
I was honored to receive that special gift years ago in Cambodia from Aki Ra (CNN hero and a founder of Cambodia Landmine Museum) and Bill Morse, President of the Landmine Relief Fund.
Since that time, that bracelet has always been with me as the most important talisman reminding me of all the brave people around the globe, who are working to make the world a safe place and as my commitment to demining action and landmine survivors.
I hope that it will be a reminder for all of us that there are people around the world who need our help. Your help can clear ONE MINE, which will save ONE LIFE!
