Humanitarian visit to Egypt
Exactly a year ago…
Another humanitarian visit to Egypt.
Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person. I’m deeply thankful to all the wonderful humanitarians I met on my path, especially in Egypt.
Giving your time, love, and attention to the children is sometimes something that they need.
That time I visited once again 40 wonderful children in the old part of the town. Most of them are orphanages without both parents, some lost their mother or father. I also met the parents of some of them. Mother of 3, who’s doing her best to be a mother and father at the same time. They live in challenging conditions. Many of these children have various health issues.
Imad, who has worked with me for many years, visits them every month with the necessary support.
It was also a perfect time for presents, as the next day was St. Nicholas Day.
Later, we visited the children in the hospital. The next day we were in an orphanage and hospital, outside Cairo.
We also engage others to support these places and we continually do it.
Just a small puzzle of this beautiful world, which still needs to learn to be more emphatic. We are all connected. We are all one.
