In May 2019, the 23rd Tactical Air Base was named after Lt. Col. pil. Jan Zumbach – the legendary commander of the 303 Squadron.During this official beautiful celebration, Angelika Jarosławska Sapieha read a letter written by the family of Jan Zumbach – the Widow and Son of the Polish hero of the Battle of Britain.
