This day is observed to recognize the service and sacrifice of the more than one million personnel who have served under the blue flag since 1948. I’ve met and worked with many Peacekeepers from all over the world. Many of our efforts to bring humanitarian aid to the communities in need were possible due to the Peacekeeper’s dedication. Thank you for your service”.
