The Economic Forum of Young Leaders was held on 5-9 September. Every year, young, entrepreneurial leaders from Poland, the European Union, as well as Eastern Europe, Balkans and the Caucasus come to talk together about the future of the young generation and Europe. This year’s Forum is attended by almost 400 leaders from 43 countries. The participants of the Economic Forum of Young Leaders are leaders of non-governmental organizations, business associations, young entrepreneurs, academics and journalists. The main topics of this year’s edition of the Forum are mainly: startup entrepreneurship, local governments, innovations and the challenges of the modern labor market and education.

Today, a discussion debate took place. The fourth industrial revolution – the internet of things and smart assets are the key to creating a true circular economy. The panel was moderated by Amer Benouda. The speakers of the debate were: Bernhard Budaker – Head of Business Unit Automotive Fraunhofer IPA (Germany) and Piotr Dardziński – Secretary of State, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland and Angelika Jarosławska, coordinator of the program POLAND 3.0
